University of Iowa Family Practice Handbook
Keywords separated by a space are automatically searched together (myocardial infarction). To find either one keyword or the other, but not the two together, separate them with a comma (child,pediatric). To find two words together in the same line, separate them with a semicolon (pediatric;clinic).
Enter keyword(s):
Case sensitive. Check this box if you want to find only keywords containing uppercase letter(s), such as proper names or keywords in titles. This finds AIDS but not aids. Leaving the box unchecked (the default) finds all occurrences of a word, whether or not it contains capital letters.
Partial match. Check this box if you want to find partial matches to a word (typing imag finds image, images, imaging as well as imaginary). Use with care, as this may lead to excessive or irrelevant "hits."
