Teaching Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities include radiology to freshman, sophomore, junior and senior dental students, and residents in various specialities inside and outside the Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology and Medicine.
Clinical Activities: Clinical activities include radiologic interpretation for College patients, as well as in Head and Neck Radiology at UIHC. Dr. Ruprecht also sees patients at the VAMC.
Research Activities: Research activities involve the effects of radiation on various tissues, and prevalence of visible anatomic and pathologic entities.
Significant National or International Professional Appointments or Activities: Dr. Ruprecht is the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Constitution and By-Laws for the Canadian Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology; American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology; Chief Examiner in Oral Radiology of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada; Chair of Scientific Program of the 11th International Congress of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology; as well as chair of the Committee for Specialty Recognition of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
