Current OfficersWelcome to the Gamma Mu Chapter of the Psi Omega Professional Dental Fraternity! As the oldest dental fraternity, Psi Omega enjoys a distinguished history and many successful alumni. At the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Psi Omega takes its place as an organization aimed at academic excellence and professional relationships with fellow students and faculty. These are relationships that will continue during and after dental school to the mutual benefit of the members and the organization.
Among the advantages of membership are test files for the first years of course work, Psi O sponsored get togethers and study sessions, and a newly refurbished lab with complete facilities for your dental school career to enable you to work on lab projects outside of school time. Upperclassmen are available to incomming and other students for help with technical skills such as waxing and prosthodontic lab procedures.
Our mission includes the academic and social development of our members, the betterment of our community through service projects, and the continuation of a long and illustrious history of a community of professional men and women, students and alumni, with the goal of professional and personal excellence and enjoyment.
