Networking
In a field as rapidly growing and changing as child sexual abuse, the
need to keep in touch with the latest developments in research and
practice is crucial. The National Resource Center on Child Sexual
Abuse maintains contacts with organizations and professionals in all
disciplines throughout the country. Through the National Center on
Child Abuse and Neglect, we work in close collaboration with the
National Resource Center on Child Abuse and Neglect and the National
Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information. This constant
networking allows us to provide the cutting-edge information you need
to help the sexually abused children in your community.
Knowledge Building
Advancement of knowledge in our field is imperative. The NRCCSA
fosters this expansion by drawing on a dedicated group of leading
experts and practitioners to identify, examine and address various
aspects of child sexual abuse. The NRCCSA also prepares reviews of
recent research in the field of child sexual abuse. The reviews,
published by the Clearinghouse, are designed to be
practitioner-friendly, so supervisors and professionals working with
children can easily identify the latest research and findings in
their areas of interest or practice.
