Note: The Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Clinic is not an emergency or walk-in clinic. Patients attending for radiographic investigation of the jaws, skull and related areas must be referred by a dentist or physician.

This clinic specializes in the radiographic investigation of oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws, facial region including sinuses, and related structures, such as the temporomandibular joints or salivary glands) through the making and interpreting of radiographs, or offering second opinions through interpretation of radiographs referred from other practitioners. A typical visit will be from 30 minutes to 1 hour, although special procedures may require longer.

Fees will depend upon the type of procedures or investigation. These may be covered by some medical or dental insurance.

Appointments may be made by telephone Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (319) 335-7345.
