Request for Translation
The Virtual Hospital will allow you to translate the requested documents
into your language, as long as the following conditions are met:
- Permission is obtained from the Virtual Hospital (granted) and from
the author of the document.
- A copy of the translated document is mailed back to librarian@vh.org
so that we may post it on the Virtual Hospital, if we wish.
- The translated document is used for noncommercial purposes.
- At the top of the translated document, the following attributions are made:

Request for Placing Documents on Intranet/BBS
The Virtual Hospital will allow you to place the requested documents on
your Intranet/BBS, as long as the documents are used for noncommercial
purposes. We feel downloading material off the Virtual Hospital and
storing it somewhere else defeats one of the major purposes of the
Virtual Hospital and the World-Wide Web: the ability to easily access
constantly updated material. Therefore, we request that you meet the
following conditions:
- Permission is obtained from the Virtual Hospital (granted) and from
the author of the document.

Request to Use Virtual Hospital Documents for Commercial
Purposes or as CME
We do allow people to duplicate information within the Virtual Hospital
for noncommercial educational uses. Unfortunately, we cannot allow people
to duplicate information within the Virtual Hospital for profit-making
educational uses, including Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Mirror Sites
At this time, the Virtual Hospital has no active mirror sites. We have
several old mirror sites which are outdated and no longer official mirror
sites. We would like to establish official mirror sites in the future, but
cannot do so now due to personnel shortages. If you are interested in
being a Virtual Hospital mirror site in the future, drop us an e-mail (librarian@vh.org)
and we will contact you in the future when we have the resources to do
mirroring.
